Zagatala district is located in the north-west of the country on the southern slope of the Caucasus. More than half of the territory is covered by mountains and forests. Chestnut, walnut, hazelnut, oak, beech, hornbeam, elm and other valuable tree species grow here.

Gakh district is situated in the northern - west side of Azerbaijan and being bounded with Georgia. Alongside the border, there are running Kumruk, Gashgachay, and Ayrichay Rivers. By luxury of mountains is lake and waterfalls. Climate on the south of the area is subtropical, in the center - hot moderate, in half it is humid subtropical, in the highest mountain atop - cold.

Sheki is a city in northwestern Azerbaijan. Sheki is situated in northern Azerbaijan on the southern part of the Greater Caucasus mountain range. Shaki has one of the greatest density of cultural resources and monuments that include 2700 years of Azerbaijani history.

It is a highly complex art form that weds classical poetry and musical improvisation in specific local modes. "Mugham" is a modal system. Unlike Western modes, "mugham" modes are associated not only with scales but with an orally transmitted collection of melodies and melodic fragments that performers use in the course of improvisation.
Ramana Tower (Azerbaijani: Ramana qalası) – is a tower located in Ramana village of Baku and dated back to the 12th century. Height of the tower is 15 meters. Exact construction date of the tower, which is built of white stone, is not known. It is considered that the tower was built for the purpose of defense and used as a castle during the Shirvanshahs’ reign.
